I knitted these cabled socks during the Christmas holidays. The pattern is from a Finnish magazine Pirkka (December 1999 issue).
The pattern for this Peruvian earflap hat (a.k.a. Chullo) was found — quite surprisingly — from the web page of a llama farm. You can also buy knitted Chullos from them. I altered their pattern a bit to get more llamas :)
I also made another one with more Scandinavian colors and color-work. Before finishing off it is a good idea to dampen the hat slightly and stretch it over a bowl or some other head shaped object. The yarn used was Novita 7 Veljestä Isoveli (7 Bröder Chunky).
All these mittens are based on Sarah Bradberry's Lady's Work Mittens. Yarn used was Novita 7 Veljestä (7 Bröder) and 7 Veljestä Colori.
This colorful cardigan was knitted with five different colors of Novita 7 Veljestä (7 Bröder) yarn. The pattern is from a Finnish knitting magazine Novita Neuleet (issue 3/98) and uses a unique "bumpy" stitch which I later also used for the color-work mittens and warm winter mittens.
The wrap cardigan was knit using variegated yarn (Novita 7 Veljestä Colori) and decorated with large wooden buttons. This pattern is also from Novita Neuleet, issue 3/98. If you're looking for a similar yarn, you could try Adriafil Globe (color #47).
This sweater pattern is from a Finnish magazine Pirkka (issue 8/1998). The pattern was written for cotton yarn but I used woolen yarn (Novita 7 Veljestä, 7 Bröder).
