The shorts were knitted with 100% cotton yarn. The edges of the pant legs are decorated with a simple eyelet stitch, the rest of the garment uses stockinette stitch. The pattern is from a Finnish knitting magazine Novita Neuleet, issue 2/98.
I made these funny-looking hot pads by modifying slightly the Pig Potholder Pattern.
Patterns for these funny and woolly ornaments are from crochet.about.com: spider and spider web, reindeer head ornament.
Since I couldn't find a decent backpack pattern on the web, I decided to design one myself. :) I was inspired by Daphne Mah's blue/white checkered backpack.
The bikini top is crocheted using mercerized cotton yarn. Instead of a Brazilian-style string fastening I preferred the shoulder straps more bra-like. The straps are attached at the back with two buttons and a plastic bikini hook.
I've received quite a few requests for the bikini pattern, and unfortunately I have to say that it is not available online. The pattern — except for the shoulder straps — is from a Finnish knitting & crochet magazine Novita Neuleet, issue 2/1998. Check the links on the right for lots of crochet and knit bikini patterns!
