Recently I got a chance to test knit a shawl pattern for a friend.
The original is done in The Uncommon Thread Posh Fingering in Meadow Grass and Zitouni. I had Garnstudio DROPS Alpaca in a similar color combination, and they were calling to be knit into this lovely shawl.

Pattern: Meadow Grass by Heidi Alander
Yarn: Garnstudio DROPS Alpaca, MC: 213 m/233 yd of #2916 Lime, CC: 166 m/182 yd of #7238 Dark Olive
Needles: 4.5 mm
Mods: In the original, the lace border is done entirely in MC. I knit 3 lace repeats with MC, then the last chart and bind-off with CC.
