First Impressions of Tukuwool

Tukuwool is a brand new Finnish yarn company with only one yarn (currently!) in their catalog, Tukuwool Fingering.

Last fall, me and my friends went to the Tampere craft fair where Tukuwool was launched. The yarn is 100% Finnish: the wool comes from Finland and the yarn is spun and dyed domestically. It’s rustic and sheepy and needless to say, we fell in love with the yarn at first sight. We bought nearly all the colors – enough for the our little knitting group – and decided to have an Endpaper Mitts knit-along.

  • On Ravelry: The End Is Nigh!

  • Pattern: Endpaper Mitts by Eunny Jang
