Downton Abbey Spin-along

I had thought about just starting spinning off one end of the braid but then decided to split it in half instead to break up the colors repeats a bit. My spinning is not super thin nor very consistent because I’ve been paying attention to trying to learn away some bad spinning habits I’d developed: treadling super fast, adding too much twist, and having a death grip on the fiber. Hopefully this will result in a floofier, loftier yarn.

I’m also trying to learn to spin across the top to maintain the color blocks. These two videos helped enormously.
