Emerald Chain
€12.50
Emerald Chain is a contemporary take on the lopapeysa-style colorwork yoke sweater. Intended for indoor wear, this top-down pullover is worked in one piece in three colors of fingering-weight yarn. The colorwork motif contains some rounds in which all three colors are used simultaneously. Helpful tips for making three-color colorwork as smooth as possible are included.
Emerald Chain starts with a round neckline with a rolled edge and corrugated ribbing. Short rows at the bottom of the yoke are used to create a well-fitting neckline whereas waist shaping placed at the sides creates a slim-fitting silhouette. The pattern also includes the option of doing sway-back shaping. Sleeve cuffs and hem are finished with two-color corrugated ribbing, then decorated with a rolled edge.
The pattern is written with both metric and US terminology. Only charted instructions are given for the colorwork pattern.
