Icebreaker

Writer's picture: SusannaSusanna

What better time for knitting huge wool shawls than the height of summer!

I finished my Icebreaker/Daybreak and it turned out much larger than expected. I wanted to finish off the Kunstgarn that remained after the Glacial Poncho. The remaining skein had enough yardage for size S but not quite for size M. I knit Section 1 (the solid section) following the instructions for size S, Section 2 (the striped section) until I ran out of yarn A, the Kunstgarn (= 16 stripes), and then did Section 3 (the border) as for size L.
