Tour de Fleece 2012 - Day 8


Today’s podcast: Episode 28 A Baby Surprise from Elizabeth Zimmermann of Knitting Pipeline, total spinning time 39 minutes.

A short spin today. I finished the first bobbin of the Finnsheep and started the second.

We were watching the documentary series Empire last night (an excellent series) and there were a few shots of Gandhi spinning cotton on a charkha. I wonder what Gandhi would think of the Tour de Fleece and the resurgence of handspinning if he were alive today...
