I Heart Rainbows

Here’s a quick leftover project I forgot to post about. The photos are not that great – it’s a stranded hat with hearts in different colors!

  • On Ravelry: I <3 Rainbows

  • Pattern: From Norway with Love by Anna & Heidi Pickles

  • Yarn: Different DK-weight leftovers, about 87 m/95 yd of the main color (natural) and small amounts of each of the five contrast colors

  • Needles: 4.0 and 4.5 mm

  • Mods: Knit 1 round across after the hearts before starting decreases, kept decreasing until 5 sts remaining

The project notes on Ravelry say the pattern runs quite small and it looks a bit tight in the original photo. I went up a needle size, hoping it would fix the problem, but the hat still turned out tighter than I wanted. It would be best worked in worsted weight – it’d be both warmer and cozier. But a great leftover project nonetheless!
