New Year’s Eve Stretcher
We spent New Year’s Eve watching Star Trek DS9 until it was time to go out to watch the fireworks. I needed something mindless TV knitting and cast on this simple shawl. I had a skein of handspun Polwarth that was kind of not my colors but I really wanted to see how it behaved when knitted up. And now I love it!
It was a super quick knit… and then languished for a few weeks waiting for the ends to be woven in and being blocked. Whoops.

Yarn: Handspun Polwarth, about 365 meters (400 yards)
Needles: 5.5 mm
Mods: No mods, just kept going until I ran out of yarn.
