Spinning Challenge 2015: April
This month’s challenge was to spin navajo-plied yarn, either with or without beads. I knew immediately what I wanted to spin: self-striping sock yarn. And I had the perfect fiber braid in mind: a 70/30 BFL/mohair blend from FeltStudioUK.
I divided the braid in half lengthwise, and spun and plied each half separately. This way, I can knit my socks two at a time from separate balls.
