Two Tours


Here’s the yarn that took a year and two Tours to complete. Or two years, if you count the time from when I dyed it. I started spinning this in the last days of TDF 2014 and then finished it on this year's Tour.

  • On Ravelry: Return to the Blue Lagoon

  • Fiber: Lagoon, 100% Polwarth dyed with Ashford acid dyes

  • Yardage: 343 m/376 yd

  • Skein weight: 101 g/3.6 oz

  • Grist: 3402 m/kg or 1688 ypp

  • Plies: Navajo-plied

  • Yarn weight: Sport
