Spring Morning
Second spin for this year’s Tour de Fleece, or the only one that was started and finished during the Tour.
This was originally four stripes of different solid-colored slivers dizzed (?) together. I didn’t want to muddy the colors so I separated the slivers lengthwise, ordered them in a sort-of-logical gradient, and then spun each sliver end-to-end, drafting from two colors at the change points. Then navajo-plied the whole bobbin to preserve colors.
The result, when knitted up, is hopefully something resembling the rising sun on a spring morning.
