Welcome to the Jungle

I don’t know what it is about summer but it’s the time of year that makes me want to sew bags. Last year I made this – it’s got lots of pockets, snap closure, a key fob, and padded bottom. And lots of room for knitting projects!

The main pattern is Back to School Laptop Bag from Sew Mama Sew. Inside, there is a padded tablet pocket but I added a few more from other tutorials: a full-width open pocket divided into two from the Eco Canvas Beach Tote tutorial from Spoonflower and an internal zipper pocket using a tutorial from Emmaline Bags. The zipper was probably the trickiest part, other than that it was mainly just sewing in a straight line!
