Last summer, I ran into this tunic/dress pattern in a Finnish sewing magazine. I loved the big side pockets… and then changed just about everything else.
Sleeves: The original had wide ¾-length sleeves that had elastic at the cuff. I made them full length and narrower.
Hem: The original women’s size hem went below knees. I preferred the look of the girl’s tunic and shortened the hem by 10 cm.
Neckline: The original was a deep V – I made a higher, round neckline.
Even when sewing I’m a knitter at heart, so when PaaPii Design released their Linnea Knits jersey, I had to get some.
