Spring is here!

Having a birthday in March, spring has always been my favorite season of the year. Printempo are my ode to this loveliest time when you can just feel the long, cold winter is behind us. For the sample I used the perfect early-spring color, a cool mint green in the gorgeous and soft iKKe MCN Sock (80% merino, 10% nylon, 10% cashmere).

See Printempo on Ravelry

Like the first shoots of spring, tiny leaflets growing on narrow tendrils arise from the toe up the leg. In between, lattices of twisted stitches twine around each other, reaching up for the growing light.

The socks are knitted from the toe up in the round. The pattern features a gusset-and-flap heel construction that doesn’t require picking up stitches. Instructions are provided to adjust the length of the foot and leg to your measurements and preferences. The twisted-stitch pattern is foot hugging, giving a comfortable fit on a wide range of foot sizes. Right and left socks are identical and can be worked two-at-a-time.
